Online video advertising, with the variety of different formats available increasing considerably, is enjoying a huge increase in popularity. Many websites now carry video advertising or some form of moving image often using Flash Video technology.

This is opening up a whole new realm of opportunities to Internet advertisers that goes way beyond taking ads made for TV and putting them online or via IPTV. This is about short bursts of contextualised engagement drawing in consumers to engage and interact with a brand, wherever it can be seen.
