There are a huge number of digital contractors or freelancers in the UK market. Characterised by their desire to have flexibility within their careers and lifestyle, these men and women routinely move from job to job. This transience gives them, by definition, a broader perspective than some of their permanently employed counterparts.
Their route to market is either through recruitment agents or often via word of mouth, but generally given that demand outweighs supply, they can pick and choose where they go. To the client or agency, finding, attracting and retaining the best contract resource is the challenge.
